Joslin Diabetes Center Deconstruction

Starting March 16, 2026, deconstruction of Joslin Diabetes Center at One Joslin Place will start. There will be construction/safety fencing placed around the Joslin building and Joslin Park. This will close pedestrian access and vehicle traffic on Joslin Place and around Joslin Park until the completion of the new Dana-Faber Cancer Institute future cancer hospital building.
Please Note:
· Joslin Place- will be CLOSED from Brookline Ave to Pilgrim Road to vehicle and pedestrian traffic
· Deaconess Road- will continue to be ONEWAY from Pilgrim Road to Brookline Ave
· Pilgrim Road- will be ONEWAY from Longwood Ave to the intersection of Deaconess Road
· Pilgrim Road- from the Francis Street side will remain bi-directional to the intersection of Deaconess Road.
Ambulance Traffic:
Ambulances should access the ambulance bay under the Klarman Building from Longwood to Pilgrim Road or Francis Street to Pilgrim Road
Police details will be stationed on:
· Longwood Ave and Pilgrim Road
· Pilgrim Road and Joslin Place (construction vehicle exit)
· Brookline Road Ave and Joslin Place (construction vehicle entrance)
